Seeing Things in Black and White

I am working on a batch of black and white photos to hang on my living room wall and I thought I'd share them with you. They are pictures of the flowers around my garden, except for the Clematis, which was taken in Seattle at my moms. I hope you enjoy them! Tell me what you think!

The Body as a Canvas

This is a piece of my new tattoo. It is a stiched heart with wings and the thread and needle. I love tattoos and expressing myself through them. It is a color tattoo but this photo is in black and white. I'll post more complete photos of it soon. I hope everyone of you has a safe fourth of July, and my there be more fireworks than just in the sky! Blessed Be!

The Rolly Polly Bug

Sierra found a rolly polly bug while we were playing in the backyard this weekend and wanted to share the excitement with her sister. Because she is so young, everything is new, unusual and exciting to her. I took a ton of shots and I liked this first one the best because is captured the amazement.
